We do not generally impose a fixed minimum project spend, as every home and scope of work is different. Projects are considered individually according to the spaces involved, the level of design input required and the client’s intended budget.
For smaller projects, a minimum design fee may apply.

Our interior design fee is calculated at 12.5% excluding VAT of the total project value.
For projects valued at R200,000 or less, a minimum design fee of R25,000 excluding VAT applies.
This reflects the design development, sourcing, procurement and project involvement required to deliver a cohesive result.

Every project starts with a brief introductory phone call. This provides an opportunity to discuss the property, the proposed scope of work, your preferred style and the anticipated budget.
Once the initial requirements have been established, an on-site consultation can be arranged.

Yes. Following the introductory call, a personalised consultation is held at the property to assess the space, explore the design possibilities and discuss the project in greater detail.

What is the consultation fee?
The on-site consultation fee is R1,250 for properties situated within 10 kilometres of Ballito.
A travel fee is added for consultations beyond this radius. The amount is confirmed in advance according to the location of the property.

Projects that do not involve extensive construction generally take approximately 8–10 weeks from formal appointment.
Timelines vary according to the scope of work, supplier lead times, custom manufacturing and the availability of contractors. A more detailed programme is established once the design direction and final scope have been approved.
