Once everything is agreed, ordering, deliveries, installation and final styling are all managed for you.

How the design develops

Understand the rooms
It starts with a visit to the property to discuss how each room is used, what needs to change and what you'd like to keep. Measurements are taken, and your budget and timing set the scope of the project.

Develop the design
Furniture layouts show how each room will be arranged, and mood boards bring together the proposed furniture, colours, fabrics and finishes, alongside an initial cost estimate.
You review the direction, and any changes are made before detailed selections begin.

Finalise the selections
Each piece is specified in detail, with fabric, stone and finish samples presented so you can see and feel the materials before anything is ordered.
Custom pieces are designed where a particular size or finish is needed, and a full schedule of selections and prices is provided for your approval.

Install and style
Once approved, everything is ordered, and deliveries, fitting and installation are coordinated for you. Furniture, lighting, rugs and artwork are then placed and each room is styled, ready to live in.

Renovations can be included
If the rooms need new flooring, painting or joinery, the contractors and work on site can be managed alongside the design. Both services can be combined within one project.
Renovations and project managementGetting started
An introductory call covers the rooms you would like to work on, your ideas, budget and preferred timing. There is no charge for the call.
A site visit costs R1,250 within 10 km of the Cape Town CBD, or is quoted by distance elsewhere. The visit fee is credited towards the design fee if the project goes ahead.
Most furnishing projects without extensive construction take around eight to ten weeks from formal appointment, depending on the scope and supplier lead times.
